ShopRite - Poor customer service and over charging
Shoprite corporate has tried to help, but Shoprite Bayshore has done nothing to resolve this issue.
I do not recommend Shoprite for grocery delivery. They advertise free delivery over $150, however, I was charged almost $50 extra for delivery.
They also sent me a number of incorrect items and charged me for other items that they didn't provide. I tried to resolve the issue via email and phone, but the store refused to provide a resolution. Shop at your own risk. I am very disappointed because I have ordered from this store before and they did nothing to assist with their error.
In fact, they told me that I ordered the items they send when in fact the items were not listed on my order.
The items were filled incorrectly and I was charged for the item I ordered, but not what i received. The people I spoke with on the phone were tremendously rude too.
Reason of review: Problem with delivery.
Monetary Loss: $46.
ShopRite Cons: Poor customer service, Charged for items not received, Rude customer service, Over charged, Failure to respond to emails and phone calls.

Sounds like you placed this order to be delivered to Fire Island and FAILED to correctly read the website where it specifically states the waved delivery fee is for local delivers solely. So this "extra" money you were charged was a result of your $5.50 box charge and $10.00 perishable box charge.
